Dolphin Stores

Being located in the Zion Building on East Veli Street means we see a lot of the Madurai crowd. This part of town, with the 625001 pincode, is usually bustling with people going about their business. Dolphin Stores is just a regular shop where we spend our days making sure we have what people are looking for. The building itself is easy to find, and East Veli Street is always full of energy, though it can get pretty hot during the middle of the day. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us in the store, handling the inventory and chatting with whoever comes in. Most of our time goes into checking the boxes that come in and making sure the displays aren't too messy. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home and stops by for a few things. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when the weather isn't great, but it’s our life. We don't use fancy words or try to act like we’re a big deal. We’re just a local store in a busy building, trying to stay organized and keep the doors open for the community. It’s practical work, and we like the rhythm of it. Being here in Madurai keeps us on our toes every single day.
