Chettinadu Spices Industry

Our place is at No:4/19, Panamamarathu Patti Vya, over in the Thippam Patti Post area of Kullappanaickanur. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the address, but it’s a quiet corner where we can actually get things done. Chettinadu Spices Industry is a small operation, and we like it that way. Being out here means we don’t have to deal with the madness of the city centers. Most of the people around here are farmers or work in small shops, so it’s a very grounded environment. We spend a lot of time just processing things by hand because we don't really trust machines to get the texture right every time. It’s dusty work, and at the end of the day, we usually go home covered in a fine layer of whatever we were handling. The building itself is tucked away, so if you aren't looking for us, you might miss it. We don't have any big neon signs. We just have a small board near the gate. Our families have lived in this region for generations, so it feels right to be doing this kind of work right here. We aren't trying to be the biggest industry in the country. We just want to make sure the stuff we produce is something we would use in our own kitchens. That is the main thing for us. It is about doing right by the neighbors.
