Amutha Trading Company is located at No:11 on East Masi Street. If you know Madurai, you know how packed and lively East Masi Street stays. It is a classic trading hub. We have been operating out of this small space for a long time. It is mostly about buying and selling, keeping track of stock, and talking to vendors. The shop is not anything special to look at. It is just a regular place with shelves and a desk. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with people who walk in from the street. The traffic outside is always loud with horns and people shouting but we are used to it by now. We handle various goods and try to keep things moving. There is no big corporate strategy here. We just open up in the morning, do our business, and close when the work is finished. It is a simple life for us. Sometimes the bookkeeping gets a bit messy but we manage. People in the market know where to find us. We do not have a fancy logo or a big marketing team. It is just us here at number 11. We have been part of this street’s history for a while and we plan to stay. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We just keep things honest and straightforward. That is the only way we know how.
