Amutha Store

Amutha Store is found at 1/5 in the Arappalayam area of Madurai. We are specifically located in Gnana Olivupuram on D.D. Road. It is a neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our shop is a small one, selling the things you need for your house every day. We have things like sugar, salt, spices, and lentils. We also keep some fresh milk and bread in the mornings for the families nearby. D.D. Road can get a bit congested during the peak hours, but it is usually a good spot for a local store. We have been running this place for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the shelves are a bit crowded, but it works for us. We don't do anything flashy. We just sit here, wait for the customers, and weigh out the items they want. The kids from Gnana Olivupuram come in for small candies or pens for school. It is a very normal, everyday kind of business. We talk to the neighbors about the local news or the price of vegetables. Sometimes we have to close for a bit if there is a family function, but otherwise, we are here from dawn till dusk. It is just a simple shop on a simple road in Madurai, helping the local people get their groceries. We keep the shop open late because people often forget things at the last minute.
