Modern Hollow Bricks

You can find Modern Hollow Bricks over near Viraj Plaza in Virajpet. Our address is 4-7-834, but most folks just look for the stacks of grey hollow blocks right off the main path. We’ve been making these for a while now because they’re lighter and people seem to like them for building shops and sheds around town. The yard is usually pretty noisy with the mixer running and the pallets being moved around. It’s just a handful of us working here, trying to keep up with the orders that come in from the local contractors. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we have, you just walk around the yard and look at the piles. Sometimes we run out of stock if a big project starts up nearby, so we have to work extra hours to catch up. It’s hard on the back, lifting those blocks all day, but it’s the work we chose. Virajpet is a good place to be, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the local drivers who come by to pick up loads. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the blocks out the door. The weather can be a pain sometimes, but we manage. It’s just us doing what we can with the space and tools we’ve got here near the plaza. We're usually here from early morning until the sun goes down.
