Seven Star

We are located in Village Raghabpur, specifically in Bakhari. The post office is Balaha and the tehsil is Parsauni. Seven Star is the name of our small operation here. It’s a very rural area, so things don't happen very fast. We work according to the seasons mostly. When the monsoon hits, the ground gets too muddy and we have to pause. Life in the village is simple. We wake up early and get to the site before the heat becomes unbearable. There are no paved roads right up to the yard, so it can be a bit of a bumpy ride for the tractors. We don't have a computer or anything fancy. Everything is done by hand or with basic tools. My family has been in this part of Parsauni for generations. We know everyone who walks past the gate. It’s dusty work and by the evening we are all covered in it. We just make the bricks and stack them up. Sometimes we sit under the big tree near the entrance and talk about the local news while waiting for the next load to be ready. It’s a quiet life but it keeps us fed. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide what we can to the people around here who are building their homes and need solid materials. It is just us and the land out here.
