Karam Bricks

Karam Bricks is located in the village of Mohan Badiyam, with our mail going through P.O. Sakri. It is a very rural area, and life moves at a different pace out here compared to the big towns. We are mostly surrounded by trees and fields, and our brick kiln is a central part of the daily routine for the folks working here. We get our hands dirty every single day, digging in the earth and shaping the bricks before they go into the fire. It’s a craft that takes a lot of patience, especially when the humidity is high and things don’t dry as fast as you want them to. The walk to the post office in Sakri is something we do a couple of times a week to keep up with things. We are just a small village operation, and we don't have any big machines or fancy technology. It’s mostly just hard work and using what the land provides. People from Mohan Badiyam and the nearby villages know us well, and they often stop by just to see how the latest batch is turning out. We don’t have a website or a marketing team, just our reputation in the local area. It’s a tough way to make a living, but we take pride in seeing our bricks being used to build the homes in our own community. It feels right to be part of the local landscape.
