Sark International School

Sark International School is situated right on B C Road in Madhepura. If you know the area, you know it can get quite lively around here during the market hours. We have a gate that leads right off the main path. Inside, it is just your typical school setting with classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their break. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but they hold up well enough for now. We see a lot of local faces every day. Parents drop their kids off on motorcycles or walk them to the entrance. It is a very local feel. We don't have a massive PR department or anything fancy. Usually, it’s just the principal and a couple of clerks handling the phones and the admissions. The classrooms have the usual desks and chalkboards. We try to keep the noise down so the students can actually hear what is being said. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows quite hard, so we pull the curtains. It is a practical environment. We don't pretend to be something we aren't. We are just a school in Madhepura trying to get through the curriculum each year. People stop by to ask about fees or uniforms, and we just talk to them plainly. It is a busy life but it is what we do on B C Road. It’s not always a smooth ride, but we manage to get things done every single day.
