Yusuf Hair Saloon

Yusuf Hair Saloon is near Sufiya Chownk on Sufiya Bagh Road in Kidwai Nagar. We are right there near the Masjid, so we get a lot of people stopping by after prayers. The shop is small and simple, with just the basic tools needed for haircuts and shaves. We have a few old mirrors and some shelves where we keep the combs and scissors. There’s usually a radio playing softly in the corner, or we just listen to the sounds of the street outside. It’s a place where you can relax for a few minutes while you get cleaned up. We see a lot of the same neighbors every day, and it’s always nice to catch up on what is going on in Ludhiana. The floor gets covered in hair quickly, so we have to sweep it out every few hours. We don’t use any of those expensive products you see in big city salons. We just use what works and has always worked for us. Sometimes it gets really crowded and people have to wait outside on the bench, but nobody seems to mind too much. It’s a friendly little spot where everyone knows each other. We’ve been here for a long time and we like being part of this community near the mosque. It’s just a regular day-to-day business for us and we keep it that way.
