Tittu Hair Dresser

If you walk out of the main gate of the Ludhiana Railway Station, you’ll see us right there. We are basically opposite the station, so we see thousands of people passing by every day. It’s a very busy spot. Tittu Hair Dresser has been here for a long time, serving both locals and people who just got off a train and need to look decent. The shop isn't very big, but we’ve crammed in enough chairs to handle the morning rush. You can hear the train whistles and the announcements from across the street while you’re getting a haircut. It’s never quiet here. We start very early because travelers are always looking for a quick shave or a trim before their meetings or heading home. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, and we’re constantly sweeping it away to make room for the next person. We have a few old pictures on the walls and some mirrors that have been there since we started. It’s a simple setup. We don’t use any complicated booking systems; you just walk in and wait for a chair to open up. Most of the time, there’s a bit of a queue, but we work fast. The air smells like cheap aftershave and talcum powder. It’s just a regular Ludhiana barber shop doing what we’ve always done for the people coming through the station.
