The Makezone Salon

The Makezone Salon is situated right on Chandigarh Road, specifically at Shop No-7 in Sector 39. We are quite close to Sacred Heart School, so we get a lot of parents and students coming by sometimes. It’s a straightforward shop. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or anything. Mostly, we just focus on the hair and skin jobs that people ask for when they stop in. Ludhiana can be a hectic city, and Chandigarh Road is always moving, but inside here, we try to keep it steady. We’ve got a couple of chairs and the basic equipment. It’s not a huge place, but it serves the neighborhood well enough. We see a lot of the same people every month. It’s nice to have those familiar faces. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything, just trying to give a good haircut or a clean shave. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, or the phone rings too much, but that’s just life in a small shop. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to do. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is done. It’s honest work, and we appreciate everyone who chooses to come here instead of those big places. We’re just local people working a local job. That is about all there is to say about us. We just keep our scissors sharp and the place open for business.
