Singla Hospital

If you're driving down Badi- Habowal Main Road, you've probably passed Singla Hospital a dozen times. It sits right there where all the traffic goes by. It’s a busy spot because of the location. You can hear the horns and the motorbikes from inside the front office most of the day. The building itself is pretty simple. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name so people know where to turn in. Inside, it’s usually humming with activity. We have folks coming in for all sorts of reasons, mostly just the usual stuff people need a doctor for. The waiting room gets pretty cramped during the middle of the day. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving, which helps when it’s crowded. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s an honest one. We do what we can with the space we have. Most of the staff has lived around here for years, so we know a lot of the families who walk through the door. It’s just a part of the daily life on Badi- Habowal Main Road. We open up in the morning, do the rounds, and see who needs help. By the time we close up, we’re usually pretty tired. It’s a basic setup, nothing too fancy, just a hospital for the local people who live nearby. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we do. We don't mind the noise much anymore after all these years.
