Star Life Hospital

Our hospital is at 45 A Rishi Nagar, right on the National Highway. If you know the area, we are basically opposite Shiv Sakti Dhaba. It is a noisy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming past on the highway at all hours. Sometimes the smell of the dhaba’s cooking wafts over here when the wind is right. Inside Star Life Hospital, things are a bit quieter, but not by much. We have people coming in and out of the front doors all day. The lobby has those plastic chairs that are a bit uncomfortable, but they easy to clean. We spend a lot of time on our feet, walking between the rooms and the reception desk. The walls are painted a plain white and they could probably use a new coat soon. We have a small pharmacy section and a place where the doctors sit when they aren't seeing patients. Being near the highway means we get a lot of people stopping in who are just passing through. It is a bit of a hectic environment, especially at night when the emergency lights are on. We try to keep the floors mopped, but people bring in a lot of dirt from the roadside. It is a simple setup and we do our best to keep things organized despite the constant flow of people. The staff mostly brings lunch from home or grabs something quick from across the road.
