Sindhi Ice Cream

Our shop is sitting at Plot No- 4-5 right on Workshop Road. If you are walking down from Fountain Chowk, you can find us in just a few minutes. This is a very busy part of the city because of all the mechanics and the other shops around us. We have been running Sindhi Ice Cream in the middle of all that noise for quite a few years now. We ended up using two plots together so there would be enough space for the cooling machines and the back storage area. The building itself isn't anything special to look at, just some old bricks and paint, but it does the job. The road outside is always crowded with big trucks and motorcycles, which makes it pretty dusty during the daytime. We have to spend a lot of time just wiping down the counters and making sure the fridge motors are running like they should. Dealing with the intense heat on Workshop Road is probably the toughest part of the work we do. You really can't let anything sit out for even a minute or it starts to melt. We have a couple of helpers who handle the mixing and packing tasks. Our routine usually starts way before the sun is up. We don't bother with any advertising. People know where to find us because the Fountain Chowk is right there. We just focus on the work and try to help people cool off when they come in sweating.
