Simco Granites & Marbles

You can find us at Plot No. 31-A in Rishi Nagar, right on Hambran Road. Simco Granites & Marbles is situated in the Haibowal Kalan area, not far from the Kali Mata Mandir. We’ve got a decent-sized space here where we keep all sorts of marble and granite slabs. The traffic on Hambran Road can be heavy, but once you step into the yard, it’s all about the stone. We spend most of our time sorting through deliveries and making sure the pieces are stacked safely. It’s dangerous work if you aren’t careful with the cranes and the heavy lifting. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and we’ve seen Rishi Nagar change quite a bit over the years. We get a lot of regulars, mostly local builders and people from the neighborhood who are fixing up their places. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. It’s just a yard with stone and a small shed for paperwork. We talk to our customers plainly. If a piece of marble has a natural vein that looks like a crack, we point it out so there are no surprises later. Dealing with natural stone means dealing with imperfections, and we think it's better to be upfront about that. It’s a tough way to make a living, but it keeps us busy and we like being our own bosses here in Haibowal Kalan.
