Shree Krishna Rice & Gen Mills

Shree Krishna Rice & Gen Mills is located right on the G. T. Road in Jagraon. It’s a noisy place because the mill is always running and the trucks are always coming and going. G. T. Road is a lifeline for us, keeping us connected to everyone else. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of grain, which is something you just get used to after the first week. We aren't much for fancy offices or air conditioning. We spend most of our time out where the actual work happens, making sure the rice is processed right. It’s hard work, and the days are long, especially during the harvest season. We have a small crew, and most of us have been working together for years. We know each other’s families and we eat lunch under the shade when the sun gets too hot. Jagraon is a good place for a mill like ours. We don't have a website with big promises or anything. If someone needs to talk to us, they usually just drive up to the gate. We keep things honest and straightforward. There’s a lot of dust and a lot of heavy lifting, but it’s what we do. It’s a family-run sort of place, and we take pride in just getting the work finished every day.
