Shiva Hair Salon & Weaving Center Ludhiana is located in the basement of Asian Lak Tower, at Sco-1. We are in Gurdev Nagar, right behind Ansal Plaza off Ferozepur Road. Being in the basement means we are a bit below the street noise, though you can still hear the heavy traffic on Ferozepur Road sometimes. It’s a decent sized space for a salon. We have several chairs and large mirrors, and the lighting is kept bright so we can see what we are doing with the hair. We handle regular haircuts, but we also do a lot of hair weaving work, which takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. The mall being so close means there are always a lot of people around, and sometimes shoppers wander in just to see what we do. We try to keep things relaxed and comfortable for everyone who comes down the stairs. It is not a super fancy place, just a functional salon where we spend our days. We have a small corner where people can sit and wait their turn. We usually have a few old magazines or the local newspaper lying around. The air is always filled with the scent of hair products and shampoo. Ludhiana can be a very busy and loud city, but down here in the basement, it feels a bit more contained. We just focus on one customer at a time, making sure we get the style or the weaving right before they head back out to the plaza.
