Shiva Dyechem

If you head toward the Jalandhar Bye Pass Chowk and turn into the New Aman Nagar area, you will find our place on Street No. 4. We have been at this B-33/2058 address for many years. Shiva Dyechem is basically a workplace where we deal with different dyes and chemicals all day long. It is a messy job sometimes, and you will often see our staff with colorful stains on their hands or their work clothes. The air inside smells a bit sharp because of the materials we work with, so we try to keep the windows open as much as we can to let the breeze in. Being so close to the bypass means there is a constant hum of heavy trucks passing by, which sort of becomes background noise that you stop noticing after a while. We aren't a big corporation with shiny floors and matching furniture; our floors are actually stained with whatever we were mixing up that morning. We have large barrels and plastic jugs lined up against the walls, and a small office corner where we keep all the paper invoices. It is just a handful of us working here every day. We know all the regulars who come in for their supplies, and we usually have a quick chat about the local market. We don't try to act bigger than we are. We just provide the colors and chemicals people need for their own small businesses. It is simple, steady work.
