Shagun Medical Hall

Shagun Medical Hall is located right in Haibowal Kalan, Ludhiana. If you know where Choti Puli is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a busy part of town so there’s always something happening outside our doors. We spend a lot of our time organizing the shelves and making sure we have what people usually ask for. It’s a small shop, honestly. We’ve got rows of medicines and some basic health supplies like bandages and thermometers. Most of the people who come in live right here in the colony. They stop by on their way home from work or after visiting a doctor nearby. We try to keep things simple. Sometimes the distributors are late with the deliveries, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage to stay stocked up on the basics. Ludhiana gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fan going all day. Dealing with prescriptions takes up most of the morning. It’s not just about selling stuff; it’s more about listening to what someone needs. People often come in just to ask a quick question about a tonic or a cream they saw. We don’t do anything fancy here, just run the shop and help the locals. There’s a lot of traffic near the bridge, so it gets noisy, but you get used to it after a few weeks.
