Raju Arts

Raju Arts is located right at Chowk Meena Bazar in Nirman Tower. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and vendors. Our shop is a small unit where we fit in as much as we can. We do a bit of everything art-related, mostly focused on what the local people need. There’s always the sound of the market outside, people shouting and horns honking. Inside, we just focus on the task at hand. The shelves are packed with cans of paint and rolls of vinyl. We don't have a lot of space to move around, so we have to be organized. Often, we are working on the floor because the tables are already full. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. We've been at Nirman Tower for some time. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to finish the work we have on our plates. Sometimes customers have to wait a bit because we’re backed up, but they usually understand. We don't use any fancy sales talk. You come in, tell us what you want, and we see if we can do it. It’s a busy life in Meena Bazar, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and keep the paint moving. It’s sweaty work in the summer, but we get by fine.
