Harrys Gallery

Harrys Gallery is situated at 2695/2, right across from D D Jain College in Kidwai Nagar. Being opposite a college means we see a lot of students passing by every day. The energy in this part of Wait Ganj is always quite high because of the younger crowd. Our shop is a bit of a mix of things. We call it a gallery, but it’s really just a place where we keep a variety of stock that we think people might want. The building itself is older, and we have a small storefront that we try to keep clear of clutter. It’s a bit of a challenge because the shop is quite narrow. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the people who come in, whether they are buying something or just waiting for a friend. Kidwai Nagar is a tight-knit area, so everyone seems to know everyone else's business. We don't mind. It makes the day go by faster when you have people to talk to. We aren't fancy people. We wear our everyday clothes and just work hard to keep the place running. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains heavily, and we have to put out sandbags, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We’re just happy to be here, doing our bit and serving the community around the college.
