We are located at 72 F Rishi Nagar in Ludhiana, right across from the Income Tax Office. Being so close to the IT office is actually very handy for us, though it means we are always reminded of the work waiting to be done. Rahul K Jain & Associates is a fairly busy place. The office is often full of people coming in with their documents or waiting to talk about a notice they received. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment sometimes, especially when the tax season is at its peak. There are papers everywhere—on the desks, on the chairs, and sometimes even on the floor in neat piles. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations; the focus is entirely on the work. Our staff spends their time typing away and double-checking figures to make sure nothing is missed. The neighborhood of Rishi Nagar is quite familiar to us, and we know most of the people around here. We have a simple routine of starting early and often staying until the streetlights are on. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just help people with their accounts and try to make sense of the tax laws for them. It’s a practical job, and we do it in a practical way. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of ink at the worst time, but we just deal with it.
