Pritam Property Dealer is over at 80-B G.T Road. It’s a busy spot with trucks and cars passing by all day. We’ve been sitting in this office for quite a while now. Most days, we just keep track of who is selling what around this part of the road. People stop by to ask about plot prices or if any shops are opening up nearby. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have a few chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and we sit and talk about how much things have changed in the neighborhood. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. Dealing with property here means knowing everyone’s business a little bit. We keep our records in folders and try to stay on top of the local listings. It gets dusty because of the constant traffic on G.T Road, but that’s just how it is. We aren't doing anything big or flashy. Just helping locals find a place or sell their land without too much trouble. It's a lot of talking on the phone and walking around to look at different sites. Sometimes a deal goes through quick, other times it takes months of waiting. We just stay here and see who walks through the door next. It’s a simple life, honestly. We know the area well enough to tell you which lane is quiet and which one gets noisy at night.
