Pratap Hospital

People usually find us here on Daba Lohara Road because of the big sign outside. It’s been quite a few years since this place started up. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we show up every morning. We’ve got some benches in the front area where people sit and wait their turn. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when the weather changes and everyone seems to come in at once. My desk is near the entrance so I see everyone walking in and out all day long. The street outside stays busy with traffic, but inside we try to keep things moving as much as we can. We have a small kitchen in the back where the staff takes turns eating lunch. It’s mostly local folks who stop by. We know many of them by name because they live just a few streets away. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for now. We mostly focus on getting through the daily list of people who need to see someone. It's a lot of paperwork and talking to families. Most days are long, and we usually close up after the sun goes down. The fans keep humming in the rooms to stay cool. It’s just a normal place where we do our jobs on Daba Lohara Road and try to help anyone who walks through the door.
