Plaza Men Parlour

Our shop is called Plaza Men Parlour. If you are looking for us, we are right by the Civil Hospital in Ludhiana. There is the Har Har Mahadev Mandir just opposite, so most people find us by looking for the temple. We’ve been sitting in this spot for years. It’s a men’s parlour, so it’s mostly just haircuts and shaves here. I don't think we are anything special, just a place to get fixed up. The shop is small and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the scissors are sharp. People coming from the hospital or the temple often stop in. Ludhiana is a fast city, but in here, we try to take our time so the shave is clean. I’ve lived around here all my life. Running a shop is just what I do to keep busy and pay the bills. We have the usual mirrors and the old style chairs that lean back. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool in the summer. My cousins help out on the weekends when it gets busy. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. You can usually find a spot to park a bike outside. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and stay until the last customer is done.
