Panoramic Art

If you're driving down Pakhowal Road, you might spot our place at number 4. Panoramic Art is where we spend most of our daylight hours. The floor usually has some paint drips on it that we couldn't quite scrub off. It’s not a gallery where you have to whisper. We’ve got frames stacked in the corners and rolls of canvas waiting to be cut. Some days it smells like linseed oil and old wood, which you get used to after a week. We mostly just help people find what they need for their projects or get things framed up properly. The light comes in through the front window in the afternoon, which makes it easier to see the colors. Sometimes we run out of a specific blue and have to wait for the delivery truck. It’s a small team here. We handle the brushes, the paints, and the customers who come in with half-finished ideas. We don't use big words to describe the art. It’s just work we enjoy doing. Pakhowal Road is always noisy with traffic, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of someone cutting glass or stapling a frame. We keep a radio on low in the background. It isn't a perfect setup, but it works for us. We've been in this spot long enough that the mailman doesn't even look at the sign anymore. We like it this way. It is a simple place where we get things done without overcomplicating the process.
