Pandit Mulesh Kumar

Mulesh Kumar here. I’ve been working out of this spot at Gill Road 52 for a long time now. People usually find me here during the day. The street gets pretty busy around noon, but it’s mostly quiet in the mornings. I started doing this because it’s what my family has always done. It’s a simple setup. There’s a small desk and enough space for people to sit down if they need to talk. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a while. I don't move around much. I stay right here mostly. Most of the neighbors know me by name. I see the same faces walking past every day. It’s a good community around Gill Road. I don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where I can focus on my work. If I’m not inside, I’m probably just stepping out for a quick tea at the corner shop. It’s been years of the same routine. I handle things as they come. Nothing too complicated about it. I just try to be available when someone stops by. The building is old but it stays cool in the summer. I like the way the light comes through the window in the afternoon. It's just a regular place for regular work. I plan to stay here for a while longer.
