Pal Hospital

Our spot on Amloh Road is usually pretty loud because of all the trucks and cars passing through Khanna. Pal Hospital sits right along that stretch. We have a small parking area out front that fills up way too fast. Inside, it’s a bit quieter but not much. We have been working out of this building for years. The floor tiles are worn down in the spots where people stand the most. We do a bit of everything here, from basic checkups to more serious things if someone has a tumble. The waiting room has these plastic chairs that we’ve had forever. They aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. My staff and I spend most of our time just managing the flow of people coming in from the road. Sometimes someone stops by just because they saw the sign while driving into Khanna. It’s a practical place, not a luxury hotel. We have the medicine smells and the sound of the fans humming all day. The paperwork piles up on the desk and we try to get through it by the end of the shift. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. If you are driving down Amloh Road, you can’t really miss us. We are just a local hospital trying to keep the neighborhood healthy. We don't have a fancy reception or free coffee, just standard medical care and a lot of familiar faces coming through the door.
