Pal Basant Ice Cream

Pal Basant Ice Cream is our shop. It is at Shop No. 3-4 on Krishna Mandir Line. We are located in the R.S. Model School Market in the Model Town Extension. Because we are in the school market, we get a lot of students coming in once their classes are done for the day. It’s a busy little area. The Krishna Mandir Line always has people walking around or shopping for things. Our shop isn't very large, but we have enough space for our freezers and a few people to stand inside. We’ve been here for some years and know the other shopkeepers in the market well. It’s a lot of hard work keeping everything running smoothly. We don't have any polished marketing or anything like that. We just have our shop and we try to keep it decent. Model Town Extension is a big place, but our little corner feels like a small community. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when all the kids come in at once, but we manage to get through it. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just an ice cream shop in a school market. We stay open until the evening when the market starts to quiet down. It’s a regular job and we are happy to be here. It’s just us working every day and making sure there is enough ice cream for everyone in the neighborhood. We even have some regulars who come by even when the school is closed for the holidays.
