It’s a bit of a trek to get to 305 Lajpat Nagar sometimes because the traffic around here is usually quite a mess. Oxford Super Speciality Hospital Private Limited is right in the middle of it all. Most mornings, I get here early just to find a spot to park my scooter before the sun starts hitting the front windows too hard. The building has been here for a while and you can tell by the way the floor tiles look near the entrance. It is just a place where we show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the tea stall down the lane is the only thing that keeps us going during those long afternoon stretches when the air conditioning struggles a bit. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. People just know where we are because we've been at this address for long enough that the locals point it out to anyone looking. The waiting area has these old chairs that have seen better days but they work fine. We spend a lot of time just managing the files and making sure the lights stay on. It’s not some big corporate office with glass walls. It is more like a second home for most of us who spend twelve hours a day here. You get used to the noise from the street and the way the shadows move across the hallway as the day goes on.
