Sehgal Forgings

You can find us on Budhewal Road, right across from Jandiali. It’s an industrial stretch of road, so there’s always trucks and heavy machinery moving around. We do forgings here. It’s loud, hot, and physical work. The building isn't brand new, but the equipment inside does exactly what it needs to do. We spend our days working with metal, shaping things according to what the orders require. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. We’re usually covered in grease or dust by lunchtime. The location is good for us because it’s easy for the big trucks to pull in and load up the finished pieces. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years now. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a lot of fancy office space; most of our square footage is dedicated to the shop floor where the actual forging happens. It’s a straightforward operation. Someone sends us a requirement, we figure out how to forge it, and then we get to work. Sometimes the machines need a bit of tinkering to stay running right, but we manage. It’s a practical business for practical people. When the whistle blows at the end of the shift, we’re tired but the work is done. It’s just how things go here on Budhewal Road. We don't need much more than our tools and a clear plan.
