Onkar Watch & Bag Store

Our shop is located right near the Clock Tower on G T Road. It's a busy part of town, so there's always something going on outside. We sell watches and different kinds of bags. Sometimes the ticking from all the clocks on the wall gets a bit loud if you really stop to listen. We've been here for a few years now. The space is a bit long and narrow, so we have bags hanging from the ceiling to make more room. G T Road is always packed with trucks and cars, so there’s a lot of noise and dust that comes in when the door is open. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. People stop in while they are out doing their shopping near the tower. We carry simple wristwatches and school bags, mostly stuff that people need for everyday use. My uncle usually sits at the front counter. He knows a lot about the old mechanical watches. We don't have a fancy layout or anything. It’s just shelves and racks filled with whatever we have in stock. If the clock tower chimes, we know it's time for lunch. It’s a simple business. We close up when the sun goes down and the traffic starts to thin out a little bit. It’s not a huge place, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the day with people coming and going from the main road. The tower is a good landmark if you are looking for us.
