We are based at number 8 Shivaji Nagar on Hill Road. Our office is inside the Amar Park Apartment building. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main markets. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character. We have a small room on one of the floors where we keep all our property listings and keys. Most of the day is spent either talking to people who are looking for a place to stay or heading out to show someone a flat nearby. Hill Road is a nice walk, though it can get steep in parts. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is just a couple of desks, a few mobile phones, and a big map of the area pinned to the wall. We know this neighborhood very well because we have lived and worked around here for years. Sometimes people just drop by to ask about the current rents or who is selling what. We offer them a glass of water and tell them what we know. It is not a high-pressure environment. We understand that finding a home is a big deal for people, so we just take it slow. The office cat from the neighbor’s place sometimes wanders in and sleeps on the spare chair. We don't mind the company while we are filling out forms. There is a small balcony where we keep some dry files and an old wooden bench.
