Oberoi Mobile Store

You can find us at Shop No. 8, right across from the CMC Hospital here in Ludhiana. It’s a very busy spot because of the hospital, so there is always a lot of foot traffic and people looking for help. Oberoi Mobile Store has been here for a good while. Our shop is small, but we pack it full of whatever we think people might need for their phones. We spend a lot of time hunched over small screens or trying to explain how a certain charger works. It gets loud with the ambulances and the horns outside, but that’s just life in Ludhiana. We usually have a few people waiting around for a quick fix or just asking about prices. We don't have a lot of room for chairs, so it’s mostly standing room only. Sometimes we get deliveries that take up half the floor space until we can get them put away. We aren't a big chain store with matching uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and try to keep the shop running well enough. The coffee shop next door keeps us going during the long afternoons. It’s a simple business and we like being right in the middle of things where everyone can see us. If you’re near the hospital, you’ll see our sign clearly. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just keeping the shop going as best as we can every single day of the week.
