Our place, Mukt Arts Pvt. Ltd., is situated at 2967/1A, Gurudev Nagar. It’s more of a workshop than an office, really. We’ve got stuff scattered everywhere—brushes, frames, and things we’re working on at any given time. Gurudev Nagar is a decent neighborhood, and being tucked away here gives us the space we need to focus. It’s not always organized; in fact, it’s usually quite the opposite. We find that we work better when there’s a bit of creative chaos around us. There’s a big table in the middle where most of the work happens, and it’s seen a lot of use over the years. We aren't really the corporate type, so you won't see anyone in a suit here. Most of us are just in comfortable clothes, getting our hands dirty with whatever project is on the go. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s gotten dark outside before we’ve even thought about dinner. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a sturdy place that keeps the rain off our work. We’ve got a small kettle in the corner for making coffee, which is pretty much essential for the long afternoons. It’s a bit of a climb to get everything settled, but we’ve made this space our own. We just like making things and Gurudev Nagar is where we do it.
