Maya Beauty Salon is situated in Ludhiana, right near the Eic Hospital and the Bhat Nagar Chowk. That area is always bustling with people and traffic, so once you step inside our door, it’s a bit of a relief from the heat and the dust. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot where you can get your hair done or get a facial. I’ve been working in this area for a while now and I know most of the people who live around the chowk. The salon is simple, with just the essential equipment we need to do our work properly. We don't have those fancy massage chairs, but we make sure the ones we have are kept tidy. It’s often just me or maybe one other person working here, so it never gets too crowded or overwhelming. Ludhiana can be a tough city with all the industry and movement, so having a small place like this feels good. We get a lot of workers from the hospital coming in after their shifts to relax for a bit. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just focus on doing a decent job so people come back.
