Manmoahan Art Gallery

If you’re looking for Manmoahan Art Gallery, you have to head down A. T. I. Road to Carter Road Number 7. We’re tucked away at 276, right at the backside of the G.N.E Collage. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, which actually makes it quite peaceful compared to the main road. We get a lot of students walking past, and sometimes they pop in to see what’s new on the walls. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. There’s usually the smell of fresh paint or wood glue hanging in the air because someone is always working on a frame or touching up a piece. We don’t really have a big staff, just a couple of us who care about the work and like being around art. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we try our best with what we have. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the walls are covered with sketches and notes from over the years. It’s a bit cluttered in the back room where we keep the supplies, but that’s just how an art space tends to be. We don't really do big fancy openings with wine and cheese. We just open the door and let people look around at their own pace. It’s a quiet life here behind the college, and we like it that way. We just keep doing our thing.
