Make Over Studio

Make Over Studio is located at Booth No. 79 in Urban Estate Phase 1 and 2 in Jamalpur. We’re right here in Ludhiana, not too far from Mukesh Sweets. You can often smell the samosas or sweets being fried next door, which makes us hungry half the time. Our shop is one of those small booths that you see all over this part of the city. It’s a compact space, so we have to be very organized with our tools and products. There’s not much room for pacing around. Jamalpur is a pretty active neighborhood, and there’s always someone passing by the window. We spend our days doing hair and makeup, mostly for people who live just a few streets away. It’s a very local kind of business. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down appointments in a paper diary. Sometimes the power goes out, as it does in Ludhiana, and we just have to wait it out or use our backup lights. It’s all part of the daily grind. We like being near the sweets shop because it’s an easy landmark for people to find us. 'Just look for Mukesh Sweets,' we tell them. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We’re just regular people working in a booth, trying to do a decent job for our neighbors.
