Madan Paints & Chemicals

Madan Paints & Chemicals is over on Link Road, right at the 12th Cross and 18th Main in Venkateshwara Layout. If you know the area, we are directly opposite the Sandhu Petrol Pump. It’s a good spot because everyone stops for fuel there. We carry a lot of different chemicals and paints for all sorts of uses. The shop is quite deep, and we have stuff stored all the way to the back. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. I spend a lot of time checking the inventory and talking to suppliers on the phone. This part of Madiwala has gotten very busy lately. We’ve been here through a lot of changes in the layout. Our customers are mostly local painters or people trying to fix up their apartments nearby. We don't have a flashy sign, just a functional one so people can find us. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who comes in. Sometimes it’s a quick sale, other times we spend an hour talking about which chemical is right for a specific job. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be part of the neighborhood. The petrol pump landmark really helps new people find the door. We usually stay open until late evening so workers can stop by after their shifts are over. It's just a simple shop.
