M B Salon is located right near the bus stand in Ludhiana, which makes for a very interesting place to work. Being so close to the Ludhiana Bus Stand means we see a lot of people who are just passing through town or heading home after a long trip. There’s a constant sound of engines and horns from the buses outside, so it’s never really quiet here. Our shop is small and simple, designed for people who need a quick haircut or a shave before they catch their next ride. We keep a few chairs ready and our tools sharp. It gets pretty crowded in the mornings when the first wave of travelers arrives. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and the mirrors. The floor needs sweeping every hour because of all the foot traffic coming in from the dusty street. Sometimes people come in just to sit for a minute and escape the heat while they wait for their bus. We’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the area. It’s not the kind of place where you spend hours lounging around, but we try to make it comfortable for everyone who stops in. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the buses come and go every single day. It’s a straightforward business in a very busy part of Ludhiana where something is always happening.
