Lekhi Clinic

Lekhi Clinic is found on Radhaswami Road, right off Gill Road in Ludhiana. The zip code is 141003. We are very close to the Satsang Bhavan, which is a big landmark everyone knows. Ludhiana is a very busy industrial city, so there is always a lot of noise from the factories and traffic. Our clinic is a bit of a refuge from that. We have a small waiting area with some old magazines that nobody really reads. The floor is made of grey stone and stays relatively cool. We have a few rooms separated by curtains where we talk to people. The walls have some charts on them, but they are getting a bit yellowed with age. Gill Road is always jammed with trucks and rickshaws, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get here sometimes. We see all sorts of people every day, from factory workers to families living nearby. The bell on the door rings every time someone enters. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us managing the front and the back. Sometimes we run out of water in the cooler and have to go fetch more. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't use any fancy computer systems for appointments, just a big paper diary and a pen. It works fine for us. There is something about writing things down by hand that makes the process feel more real and connected to the people.
