Our shop is at 342-A in Jawaddi Kalan, right near Punjab Mata Nagar in the Model Town area. It’s a bit tucked away, but once you find the neighborhood, we are easy to spot. The space inside is filled with all sorts of things we’re working on, mostly related to local art and framing. We have been here for a good while, and the routine hasn't changed much. Every morning we open up, check what needs to be finished, and get to work with our tools. There’s usually some music playing in the background to keep things lively while we handle the glass and the frames. We get a lot of students and families coming in with different projects. Some want a simple frame for a diploma, while others have something more personal they want to preserve. We don't use any fancy machines, just our hands and the basic equipment we’ve had for years. The shop can get a bit messy with scraps of matboard and bits of wire, but that’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. It’s a quiet life for the most part, apart from the occasional rush of customers on the weekends. We just try to do a solid job so people are happy when they take their stuff home. It’s not a complicated business, just a local shop doing what we know how to do best.
