Kundan Lal Property Dealer is tucked away at 16 Preet Palace, right in the Guru Ram Das Market area. If you know where Sangeet Cinema is, you’ve basically found us. This part of town is always noisy and moving, which is fine by me. We’ve seen shops open and close on this street for years. Mostly, we deal with shops and small houses around this specific market. It’s a lot of walking back and forth, checking on shutters and making sure the locks work. The market gets really packed on the weekends, so we try to get most of our serious paperwork done on Tuesday mornings when it’s a bit quieter. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the stools and chat with the neighbors until it comes back on. My father started things here, and I just kept it going. We aren't trying to be the biggest office in town. We just know who owns what and who is looking to move. People drop in without calling first, which is just how it works here.
