Our small office is tucked away in Bachittar Nagar, right on the Patel Estate Road Colony in Roper. It is a quiet enough spot but we stay busy with people coming in to talk about land. We started doing this because we lived here and people kept asking us who was selling what. Now we just spend our hours checking out different plots and meeting with families who want to move into the colony. The roads around here can be a bit dusty when the weather is dry, but it’s a good place to work. We keep a ledger of the houses that come up for sale and try to keep everything simple. It is mostly just us sitting around the table, drinking tea and looking at maps of the local area. Sometimes we have to drive out a bit further to see a new development, but we usually stay close to Roper. Dealing with property is mostly about knowing the neighbors and who is planning to move. We don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know the streets well. It's practical work. We handle the papers and show people around when they have free time on the weekends. It’s a decent way to spend the day, helping folks figure out where they want to live next.
