Kar Nikhar

Kar Nikhar is located at 12-L in the basement of the Mohan Complex. We are in the Model Town area on Dugri Road. Being in a basement means people sometimes miss us if they aren't looking closely. We have a small sign out front to help out. The air down here can get a bit still, so we keep the fans going all day long. It is a decent space for what we do. The neighborhood is fairly busy with people going about their business on Dugri Road. We usually start the day early before the traffic really picks up. Most of the work involves sitting at the benches and getting the details right. We aren't a big operation, just a handful of us who have been doing this for years. We know the regulars by name and they know how we work. Sometimes we take a break on the steps outside just to see the sun for a minute. The shop is full of samples and old projects that we never quite cleared out. It gives the place a lived-in feel. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a local business trying to do honest work for the people around Model Town. We stay open until the complex starts to quiet down in the evening.
