Being in Prem Nagar means we are right in the heart of things here in Ludhiana. Our office is small and it doesn't have much in the way of fancy decoration or art on the walls. We mostly just have the essentials like some chairs, a few desks, and a calendar that we forget to flip sometimes. We work as commission agents, so there’s always someone coming in to talk about a deal or ask about current prices in the area. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of filling out paperwork. The street outside can get pretty cramped with scooters and delivery cycles, but that’s just how Ludhiana is. We’ve been at number 3 for quite a while now. Most of our neighbors know us by our first names. We don't use any big words or complicated business processes. If someone wants to buy or sell something, we just sit down and figure out all the details over some hot tea. It’s a practical way to run a business. We see a lot of the same faces every week. The morning usually starts with sweeping the front and getting the files ready for the day. It’s not very glamorous work, but it’s what we do. Prem Nagar is a good community and we feel right at home in this part of town.
