Kahlon Vetneary Hospital

Kahlon Vetneary Hospital is out here in Ludhiana. Dealing with animals is a whole different world compared to human hospitals. We get everything from small pets like cats and dogs to bigger farm animals because of where we are situated. Ludhiana has a lot of people who keep animals, so there is always someone needing help. The hospital is a bit of a loud place with all the barking and occasionally a cow making noise outside. It’s not a sterile, quiet environment like you might expect from a city clinic. There’s usually some mud on the floor and the smell of hay or medicine in the air. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. Most people just know the Kahlon name and come to us when their animal is sick or needs a checkup. We spend our days checking ears, giving shots, and talking to farmers about their livestock. It’s hard work and it can be quite dirty, but we don’t mind it much. The building itself is just a practical space designed for animals. We’ve got some basic rooms for exams and some space for them to stay if they need to recover. It’s a very hands-on job and we don’t use a lot of big words to explain things to the owners. We just tell them what the animal needs and get to it. It’s a busy life in Ludhiana and there is always something to do.
