Jeet Clinic

If you're driving along Sahnewal Road in Kohara, you'll see Jeet Clinic. It’s a small place, easy to miss if you’re driving too fast. We’ve been here in Kohara for a good bit of time. It’s a simple clinic. We don't have any of those high-tech waiting rooms with fancy coffee machines or expensive rugs. We just have some benches and a desk. Most of the people who stop in are locals from the village or people working nearby. We see a lot of common stuff like seasonal flu, skin rashes, or minor injuries from work. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in. You don't always need a fancy appointment weeks in advance, though it helps to call if you can. The building itself is plain, and the sign outside is a bit weathered from the sun and rain. We don't mind that much. The important thing is what happens inside. We try to treat everyone fairly and get them the medicine or advice they need. It’s a one-man show sometimes, or maybe just two of us on a busy day. We don't use big words to try and impress anyone. We just tell you what's wrong and how to fix it. Sahnewal Road gets quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the front. It’s just a regular part of life here. We’re glad to be the local spot for health stuff in Kohara.
