Jeet & Kala Meat Shop is right there on the Tajpura Vibhuthipuram Main Road in Annasanora. If you’re driving by, you can’t miss it. It’s just a local spot where Jeet and Kala and the rest of us spend our days. We’ve been serving the folks in this neighborhood for quite a bit now. We don’t have a fancy storefront with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s just a practical shop where people come to get their meat for dinner. Most of the people who walk through the door are regulars we see every week. We know about their kids and their jobs because we talk while we work. It’s a bit of a social hub in the mornings. The knives are always sharp and we try to keep things moving fast so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We don't use any of those big marketing tricks. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the meat is what people are looking for. Sometimes we run out of certain things by the afternoon, so folks know to come early. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours. We take care of the shop and the shop takes care of us. That’s really all there is to it. No big corporate story here, just a couple of guys running a shop in Annasanora every day.
