J.D. Property Commission Agent

We’re tucked away on Street Number 2 in Ravindra Colony, over in the Shimlapuri area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays a bit quieter than the main roads, which is nice. Our office is basically a small room at the front of the building. We’ve got a couple of old wooden desks and some chairs that have been around as long as the business has. Most of our work involves being a middleman for property deals. We spend a lot of time on our scooters going from one house to another in Shimlapuri. People around here know us as the local commission agents they can talk to without any fuss. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy computer system. We keep track of most things in notebooks and ledgers. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us and the people we deal with. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello or ask about the weather. We’ve lived and worked in Ravindra Colony for a long time, so we know every street and alleyway. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just sit down, have some chai, and talk about what’s for sale or rent. It’s a simple life and a simple business, right here in the heart of the colony.
